David Holliday Artist

David is also drawn to areas of natural beauty such as the mountains of the Lake District and the rugged hills of Northumberland.  Brooding skies, exposed granite and gnarled weather-beaten trees feature in these images.

'When I paint rocks, scree or boulders, I use straight-from-the-earth pigments such as the subtle earth tones of Hermatite Violet and Tiger's Eye Genuine.'
